Kristin is a devoted yogini who infuses her teaching with her infectious and dynamic passion for life.  Through twenty-three years of study in varied yogic disciplines and global philosophy, she has developed a style that is both modern and intuitive, while steeped in traditional aspects of Yoga.

Kristin discovered Yoga while training for her first marathon in 1998. She was immediately struck by the positive effect that her practice had on her running performance.

While initially physical, before long her practice evolved into the spiritual realms of Yoga. Years later, she also found a consistent Yoga practice to be a powerful grounding and nourishing force as she managed the stresses of attaining her M.A. in journalism from the University of Southern California.

With seven years of insight from her personal practice and a passion to share physically and spiritually integrated Yoga with others, Kristin became a certified Yoga teacher at YogaWorks in Santa Monica in 2004, where she worked, trained and practiced for three years.

In 2006, Kristin moved to Santa Barbara to devote herself to her Yoga practice. Immersing herself in this dynamic yoga community, she became a full-time teacher at three of the main yoga studios in town, leading both public and private classes to students of all levels.  In 2009, she heped create an in-depth 200-Hour Yoga Alliance teacher training, which she co-led thru 2012.

Most recently, love and family brought Kristin to Bozeman, where she’s excited to bring her West Coast flow to the Mountain West, and to this special place she now calls HOME.

Kristin Jordan’s Flow:  blending her yogic training with her passion for music, dance and literature, Kristin teaches from the joyous place of compassion, curiosity and play. Kristin weaves philosophy and ancient poetry, modern music and meditation, into a creative flow that creates a space for students to unfold themselves to what is always present- the miraculous peace and beauty that is within each and every one of us.
